This is a detail picture of one of the blocks. I made each piece by making a freezer paper template, starching the edges over the template and then using Roxanne's glue baste put it all together. Next I glued it to the back and sewed everything down with matching DMC 50 weight thread. I roughly counted 79 pieces for just this block. Can you tell I am trying to justify 5 years of working on this?
